Authenticity is the key to our success at Thai Bistro located at 147 Main Street in Waterville, Maine. Our menu features not only the many tastes of Thailand, but also offer some of the widely loved favorites that Asian cuisine has to offer. From spicy salads to rich noodle dishes, we offer a wide range of choices for any taste.

Many people who have never had Thai food before think it’s all spicy, but the fact is Thai food is a fine balance of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy. At Thai Bistro we create dishes that will satisfy any taste!

Most people know and love the Thai dish Pad Thai, which seems to be the signature dish for most Thai restaurants. Pad Thai is also one of our biggest sellers — but equally delicious is our Pad See Ew, Rad Na, and Pad Woon Sen, along with our curries and chef specials. We encourage all of our customers to try something different each time — and we are always able to help you learn a little more about the wonderful flavors and foods we have to offer.

Looking for a great value meal, then try our Bento Box and choose from 30 of our most popular dishes (Served with: Vegetable Soup, Green Salad, Crab Rangoons, Thai Rolls, and Rice.). Bento Box is available for both lunch and dinner.

While you are at Thai Bistro don’t forget to order our Thai ice coffee or Thai ice tea to enjoy along with your meal — also we have special Thai desserts that add a perfect ending to your dining experience.

Customer Testimonials

I love Thai Bistro -- they have the best Thai food that I have ever eaten. My friends and I go there all the time.

The owners, JoJo and Lek are so friendly they always make my family and I feel right at home.

Every time I come here I get excellent service. The staff is friendly and they are quick and efficient. Food is hot and delicious at the table in no time. This is probably one of my absolute favorite places to get beef drunken noodle.

The vegetable soup is still a staple for me, and having been adventurous, I've discovered the red curry is amazing (but still a bit spicy for me). Come here. Eat here. Then order out from here. You won't regret it.

The people making the food know what they're doing. The have a wide range of Asian cuisine, but quality of food does not suffer. Id say that they are the best Asian restaurant in the Kennebec county especially because their food is so affordable.

I'm a huge fan of the drunken noodle, which is a spicy Thai basil based dish. They have great refreshing and light noodle salads if you're not in the mood for something too heavy or hot. They have surprisingly good sushi and Korean food for not being a strict Korean or Japanese restaurant.

Came here starving and it was amazing! The flavors really popped in all the dishes we had. The pad Thai and drunken noodles were great and really good size portions. Will definitely recommend this to friends traveling in this area!

Good Thai and Vietnamese food for Maine. I am very happy they are now in Waterville. I eat at Thai Bistro at least once a week.

Thai Bistro does Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese, and Korean food. I really liked the Okdol Bibimbab (Korean rice dish). Other dishes like curry are pretty solid.

Brian L.

This is the most authentic Thai I have had since living in Southeast Asia. The flavors and smells brought me right back, and it was spectacular. Curry craving: Satisfied!
